The International Symposium on Yersinia is a scientific event held every three to four years in different countries and is the most important gathering in the field of Yersinia research. Traditionally, it covers a wide range of topics, including bacteriology, epidemiology, infection and immunity, genomics and evolution, disease surveillance and control, and omics-driven studies on bacteria. Approximately 150–200 participants are expected to attend, including young students and researchers from around the world. As such, the symposium will provide an excellent opportunity for scientists, particularly those from Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas, to present their research findings and engage with a diverse group of experts. The direct interactions during the symposium will facilitate the exchange of ideas, foster the development of strong international networks, and promote close collaborations among scientists from various countries.
